Executive meeting on March 19th- one correction- Charlie purchased a fire-safe File Box ($43). Accepted as amended, Charlie motioned, Bill 2nd, approved

Charlie will draft a letter to Eliot Spitzer thanking him for his contributions & recognition of Upstate NY (copied to Paterson) for Marianne to send.
New Business
The District Attorneys position will be on the ballot this November.
Jeff Aumell is presently 2nd Assistant & will move into the DA position on May 27th. Jeff is a Democrat & has been with the DA’s office for 6 years. The Executive Committee interviewed him regarding prosecution, the setup & budget in the DA’s office, & the levels of crime in Madison County. Brian Felton is a Republican, presently in Essex County with family in Hamilton.
Brian wants to move back to Madison County & be a career prosecutor.
The Executive Committee voted to endorse Jeff Aumell for DA, Charlie abstained.
Mike Oot updated the committee on his campaign. He introduced Dave Wilkins, his new Campaign Finance Manager & Chris Rackl, his Campaign Manager. They are initiating an internet/email campaign. Send your email address to davidw@mikeootforcongress.org to participate. Mike is traveling the 23rd Congressional District this month acquiring county endorsements.
